Hey! Sorry for the ridiculously belated posts, I've been busy. As it is, this one is going to be short since I'm on my cell phone, waiting to teach classes at yubari high school for handicapped children. Without further ado, here is my list:
1. Onsens.
Theres just something so liberating and wonderful about resting in a giant tub of natural mineral hot water outdoors in the nude surrounded by other naked people. I really feel it would help many people in the west get over their body issues. Also, its ridiculously relaxing. :)
2. Staggered showers.
Save water, save money, save the planet! Many showers here force you to turn off the water while you sud up because they only run the radio for so long before it switches off immediately. With so many ppl here, you have to be more conscious of the amount of water you use.
3. Hot water heaters with a temperature setter.
Another less waste thing. If you would never use 70 degree water to do anything, why do you need to heat it that much? Here, I set my water heater to 42 degrees, and I never have to dilute it with cold :) saves on my water and electricity bill!
4. Home Economics.
I'm very adamant about this one. I think that if schools back at home still had Home Economics classes, we would have children and teens that could cook for themselves and repair their own clothing. The most important aspect of this is cooking, since you also learn about nutrition. It could lower rates of behavioural diseases and obesity rates as well. YEP.
I'll add to this list as I think of things, but I'm on my phone, so thats all for now!
